So what exactly is Love Plus?

Basically, it’s a dating sim for Nintendo DS game from Konami, released on Sept. 3 last year.

It just another Japan dating sim. So whats the big deal about it?

Yes it is, my comrade. Its all lies within Nintendo DS’s built-in microphone and touch screen interaction. You can talk with your girls, have a skinship, and, well, a kisses too. Oh yeah, did I mention that this game literally start after she confessed to you?

Mind to tell me more about it?

The game took place in Towano City, where you just got transfered to its Towano Private High School. Like any other typical dating sim games, you’ll encounter 3 girls during your stay at the school. Your aim is, well, make one of the girls confess to you before you hit 100th days. Then, the game started. You’ll unlock RealTime mode, in which you can play the game in RTC (real time clock).

For example :

• When it’s 7 am in weekday, you have to go to school.
• When it’s Sunday, you can have a days off and have a date with your girls.
• When it’s Valentine in real world, so is the game. You can buy her a chocolate. And you can celebrate her birthday too.
• When it’s summer in real day, so is the game, and she’ll dressed up accordingly.

If you ask me, I only play the Nene’s route. I like her, mainly because she’s

1. 1 year older than me (the protagonist).
2. acted your big sister. Nene onee-san~
3. the same seiyuu as Akiko Minase in the first Kanon anime.
4. one matured and reliable person.

I know nothing about Katakana/Hiragana/Kanji. How do I play?

Worry not comrades, you are not alone. There’s English guide done by our good comrades out there. Check out this and this. Yea, they nowhere near completion, but they already covered most of the important part, so rest assured. Hell, they are even in the middle of translating the game right now.
